The Vitrolite was built in 1926, as a showroom for the Vitrolite Glass Company.
The building stood out among its Detroit Avenue neighborhoods for its Italianate arches, white facade and opaque glass, a popular Art Deco detail.
In 2022, H.CO Partners purchased the 18,000 square-foot Vitrolite building to create a neighborhood space for local makers, professionals & families. With a vision rooted in community, it’s now home to locally run, purpose-driven brands.
